I would highly recommend booking a private tour. While in Egypt, I did experience a group tour and the pace was just too fast. My private tour with Merit, especially on a quiet Sunday float, smooth like water. I saw some very special locations that were off the beaten path and felt very local. The rooftop breakfast was simply magical.
