This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on any vacation! The host family was unbelievably hospitable and generous. They made our group feel welcome in their home and spared no effort to give us the best experience we could have hoped for. Would recommend for anyone!!

If you want to experience a relaxing vibe away from the hustle and bustle and crowds of Lisbon and the tourist spots of Sintra this is the tour for you. Our 36 year old vintage car was admired by passers by and could easily squeeze along the narrow country lanes and streets. The picnic stop was in a beautiful peaceful restored tiny village with so many potential photo shots - the food was simple but locally sourced with an excellent wine and a unique method to cook the speciality chorizo. There was a stop at a quaint pottery village and the chance to shop for unique reasonably priced artisan local Portuguese pottery. To top it all our driver Rita surprised us with a local delicacy at the beautiful fishing village of Ericeira, a quieter version of Cascais with azure blue tiled houses and a stunning coastline with a sandy beach. Rita was also kind enough to guide us to the correct bus stop to safely get us back to our accommodation in Cascais. Loved it xx

We had an amazing time. It was intimate and off the beaten track. We got to see things that many don’t when they come to visit the area. I highly recommend taking this adventure stepping back in time.

Highlight of our trip!! So nice to spend the afternoon with Rita’s family! Everyone was so kind and the food was delicious! Really nice to see another side of Portugal!
