We loved our soba noodle making class with Hiro! The location -- a room in a Buddhist temple overlooking a serene garden -- was unique. Hiro led us through each step in the process, explaining why they've done it this was for centuries. He took lots of pictures and shared them with us. Eating what we made was a great way to finish - but there was more! He showed us the main prayer room at the temple and talked about all the different items and their symbolism. A morning well spent!

What a wonderful time learning about traditional cooking techniques. The course is guided at an enjoyable pace, filled with knowledge. The venue almost exceeds the culinary experience.

Really fun and interactive. Great for a group and a new experience when visiting Japan, would recommend!

L’ambiance était paisible, et notre hôte, d’une grande gentillesse, a rendu le moment encore plus spécial. Nous avons adoré déguster les nouilles que nous avions préparées ensemble : un vrai délice ! Après cela, il a eu la générosité de nous faire visiter un magnifique temple bouddhiste, ce qui a rendu cette expérience à la fois gourmande, culturelle et profondément humaine. Nous recommandons de tout cœur !
