It was a very unique and interesting tour—I enjoyed every moment! Even though I joined by myself, I had no problems and felt very comfortable. I discovered a lot while walking, and it was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Australia. Highly recommended!

I love "niche" walking tours so this experience completely hit the spot. Elliot did a great job, and the storytelling was superb. Really enjoyed all the photos and background information as we wandered the streets of Surry Hills, most of which I would have never found otherwise. FYI: I was not aware that this would be a large group (I think over 20 guests) and not just the people listed in the Airbnb group, you are basically pulled together with people from other booking platforms. I personally don't like large group activities which is why I prefer Airbnb experiences (as these are generally more "intimate"), but I do understand that it would not make sense for the guides to run these tours for 1-2 people. Nevertheless, a heads up would be nice as I expected to meet with two other guests and a guide... but there were suddenly a lot of people. I would still recommend the tour as it is very unique and gives you a fascinating glimpse into another side of Sydney.

Elliot was a passionate and knowledgeable guide who took us to areas of Surrey hills we would never have been to or learned about if we hadn’t been on the tour. He also gave us great tips on what to do in Sydney during vivid. Highly recommend if you are interested in the true crime history of Sydney!
