Luca is a very friendly and welcoming host. He has lots of knowledge about food, knows the history of different recipes, the history of all ingredients, knows their differences and explains everything very well. It's interesting listening to him explaining all the background info for making pesto, making it so much more easy to understand why you do what you do and to also increases appreciation for this delicious sauce.
Making the pesto itself is fun too. It's nice doing it in a small group, getting to know other people, chatting, working as two teams, being led through the process step by step and getting such a delicious dish as a result.
Just note that there is no toilet in the apartment where you'll be taking the class so you won't be able to use the restroom.
