Benedicto is amazing! He's an archaeologist and teaches at a local university. He took us to all the interesting and mindblowing spots on both archeological sites. We had the best time seeing Pompei and Herculaneum with our guide. We had a group of 8 with 10 being the max capacity. This is so much better than the tour guide companies that can have up to 20 or 25 people.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience with Benedetto and the group. Truly fascinating to finally see Pompeii up close and the snapshot of an instant of Roman life. Herculaneum was likewise a treasure with some better preserved buildings. I'd recommend both. In particular, Benedetto was a patient, personable, and especially knowledgeable guide.
