Great experience learning about traditional methods right in the jungle. They were very accommodating even though I was running 30min late from a previous activity. Afterwards they even dropped me off at the location for my evening event.

We greatly enjoyed this tour! Very neat to learn about the lifecycle of coconuts, the different types of coconuts, and the process of extracting coconut oil. Also fun to DO the process and make the coconut oil yourself, in real time. A fun social activity. Many coconut byproducts and things to taste! Very cool. Beautiful location, beautiful farm. Very kind and hospitable hosts. Delicious meal at the end. Transportation included to the farm, about 25 minutes from Ubud. Convenient. We also were so very happy and fortunate to have good company in the form of other guests on the tour. We, a few Americans from Texas, had the pleasure of making some new friends and having unique conversations with some folks from China. Very neat cultural exchange, over a fun social activity. Great! This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip! We had the most amazing time learning how to make traditional coconut oil from start to finish. Suarni and Ari were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing this beautiful, hands-on process with us. From cracking and grating the coconuts to cooking and extracting the oil, we were guided through each step and learned so much along the way.
What made it even more special was how welcoming and warm the atmosphere was — it truly felt like being thought by a grandma. At the end of the experience, we were gifted a bottle of the coconut oil we helped make, which was such a thoughtful and personal souvenir.
Cherry on top, we were treated to a delicious lunch at a nearby warung, where we enjoyed an authentic nasi goreng and noodles. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique activity!
