In four hours, we experienced the entire Kintsugi process through a clever method of working on multiple pieces simultaneously, which effectively demonstrated the patience and dedication this traditional art form requires.

It was an honor to learn from a master, surrounded by his beautiful work. The experience was made even richer by the excellent translation from his student and the fascinating cultural history he shared. The highlight was a traditional tea ceremony, where we drank from ancient cups the sensei himself had repaired with gold. It was an unforgettable experience. I LOVED the workshop and i would strongly recommend to anyone interested in wabi- sabi and kintsugi. I learned so much on the day. This was the best experience from my 3 week travel though Japan.

Fantastic afternoon spent learning about and practicing some kintsugi. Everything was well explained and translated, which made it really informative as well as fun. Would really recommend this experience - hosts and sensei were lovely and very welcoming.
