Hey there! :) I'm a Portuguese food writer and veg cook. Passionate about all things that involve exploring, mingling with people, learning more about new cultures and training my palate to enjoy new flavors. I traveled full-time for about 5 years and stayed at Airbnb properties all over the place. I had an amazing time at Sergio’s Pastel de Nata master class in Lisbon! From the moment the class started, Sergio’s passion for Portuguese pastries shone through. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also funny, engaging, and made everyone feel comfortable — even those of us who aren’t expert bakers.

The class was hands-on, perfectly paced, and full of little tips and tricks that only a true professional would know. I left with a deeper appreciation for the craft behind these iconic pastries — and a box of delicious, golden Pastéis de Nata that I made myself!

If you’re in Lisbon and want to do something truly local (and delicious), I can’t recommend this class enough. Thank you, Sergio, for such a fun and memorable experience!
