Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Cottage in the middle of the woods

Close to the city is a wooden house hidden in the middle of a forest. It sounds as amazing as it is. Here you get raw nature, tranquility and forest, no matter where you look. The house is well-equipped, the rooms are cozy and the terrace is perfect for morning coffee, lunch outdoors, barbecue or lying on a sunbed and reading a book. Go into the clearing and light a fire or jump on the trampoline with the kids. In the house you will find a kitchen, toilet and bathroom and a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove. Access to washing/drying can be purchased. There is a shop with delicious sandwiches/tapas, rolls, etc. approx. 700m. The cabin cannot be locked There is no heat source in the cottage.

Welcome to our beautiful log cabin, surrounded by nature, and within short distance to the Kattegat Sea and the gentle beaches. The house consists of 3 rooms + a loft. Was built in 2008 and features modern amenities such as a sauna, hot tub, dishwasher, fiber internet etc. We do not rent to youth groups. Please note: Prior to arrival, a deposit of 1,500 DKK must be paid via Pay Pal. The amount will be refunded, excl. electricity consumption. Please bring your own towels, bed linen etc.
