The Canary House -a Renovated Historic Hidden Gem!

Kick back and relax in this calm, just-remodeled space under the oak trees in historic Buffalo Gap. The master bedroom was a 1-room schoolhouse from the 1890's to 1914, where "Miss Sallie" Young taught (after she retired from 54 years in Texas public schools). After many additions and updates, it's now a quiet part of a Church Camp property (which you're welcome to explore). Perini Ranch Restaurant is nearby, as well as several other great places to eat - not to mention Abilene is 8 miles away.

One of a kind loft! This unique apartment was built in 1920 with our Sears Craftsman home. It has been totally renovated and updated and just might be the cutest "steampunk themed tiny house with a sleeping loft" anywhere, much less Abilene. Just minutes from downtown, the SoDA District, The Mill, bars and nightlife, all three universities and Dyess AFB. Our Historic Sayles Loft is perfectly located for one night, a weekend, or more! It’s a tiny space, so two guests is the limit!

Private entrance! Very clean, peaceful and centrally-located Backyard Bungalow. Enjoy an extremely comfortable room, including a comfy queen size bed, futon, Wi-fi, TV (use your own streaming service), refrigerator, Keurig coffee pot, microwave and a large walk-in shower. Outside the Bungalow includes a patio and plenty of parking. The yard is a shared yard-space with the main house. I do have 2 very friendly dogs that do not share their yard with other pets.

Modern cozy duplex close to downtown!

Very simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). House is located to close to Sayles Boulevard and Butternut street, which makes it a breeze to get around. There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!
