Just steps from the water's edge, this a-frame cottage is nestled into a private cove on the picturesque Eagle Lake in the Almaguin Highlands. Our family's cherished space is available for families or couples (maximum 4 adults) to rest and rejuvenate. There is a Queen bed in one bedroom and a bunkbed in the other bedroom. However, a unique loft will offer the best view of the morning sunrise with a queen bed there too. A peddle boat and two kayaks with life jackets are included in the rental.

Summer at the cabin is idyllic. Enjoy a swim off the dock in the spring fed lake. Picnic outdoors or go for a hike. Take the canoe for a silent paddle and have a small campfire in the pit. The Aurie, modern cabin.

This unique place has a style all its own. An upside-down architect-designed cabin in the woods; the bedroom and full bathroom are on the 1st floor and the kitchen and living area are on the 2nd, and in between is a 14ft high bumped-out daybed area for lounging. Tastefully and richly decorated with all the mod-cons, and plenty of windows for natural light. There’s a wood-burning stove in bedroom. It’s very private, on 100 acres, with shared trails thru out. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This cabin is available all winter. Lots of trails on the property and many more longer trails nearby for the outdoor enthusiasts! Ideal for atvers, snowmobilers, snowshoers, hikers, etc. Just bring your bedding and groceries. My chickens are working hard to make sure there are fresh eggs available for your stay. Great News! I have just completed building a separate shower house with walk in shower and vanity.
