This is one of the few remaining pure Japanese-style shoin-zukuri buildings in Hiroshima City, built 75 years ago, shortly after the war.Just a stone's throw from the main street, in a quiet setting, this small but charming property features a Japanese-style garden where you can relax and unwind. Some of the items on display at the Dance House, such as a vase partially melted by the heat from the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima on 6 August 1945 and photographs from around 100 years ago, are only kept there. The fittings and glass date back over 70 years to that era, and the two gardens, the hearth, and the study, in particular, capture the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese home. At present, these items can only be obtained by placing an order with a select group of craftspeople. Of the five rooms, three are tatami-mat rooms; please sleep on the tatami mats with your futon on top at bedtime. Located in Minami-ku, Hiroshima City, and accessible by a single tram ride within the city. From the nearest tram stop ①, it takes about 20 minutes to get to Hiroshima Station. From the nearest tram stop (②), you can reach the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, as well as the city centre, in around 20–30 minutes. The taxi journey takes around 10 minutes. You'll find everything you need for daily living right in the neighbourhood at the large Youme Town Hiroshima shopping centre. Convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart), eateries (okonomiyaki, ramen, sushi, yakiniku, waffles, bakery, etc.), and more are all within walking distance.

It has been gradually renovated and revitalised (currently in the process of revitalisation) with white plastered earthen walls, natural Kenji bamboo fences, and more.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the courtyard, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through a fountain, a basin, a stone trough, a stream between stepping stones, and a pond. This accommodation is limited to one group per day and allows you to enjoy the beauty of the many islands in the Seto Inland Sea and the sunset. Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

The ultimate hideaway to escape the noisy, busy city, and spend time quietly with family, loved ones, and close friends, just watching the sea. I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.
