Private garden space & alfresco dining area for own use. May not be suitable for very overweight, tall or elderly people due to height restrictions and narrow stairs. Driveway parking space. On the edge of the Peak District. 6 miles from Sheffield city centre. 9 miles from Bakewell. So much to see and do!

We are situated about 50m from the main road and bus stops for regular direct buses to Sheffield/Chesterfield . Dronfield has a train station providing an hourly service direct to London. 1 mile from the Derbyshire countryside, 10miles - Chatsworth House, 12 miles - Bakewell.

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
