This is a private rental for one group only. It can accommodate up to 10 people, and you can have a BBQ or a campfire on the covered terrace, and it is fully equipped with outdoor chairs, tables, and a kitchen. In addition, we provide a space where you can enjoy a sauna at any time with a barrel sauna. We hope you will enjoy your stay. There are also many spots nearby where you can feel the river and the sea at the same time, such as "Niyodo Blue", "Niyodo River Estuary Surfing Spot" and "Tosa Cross Wave Skyline". If you stretch your legs a little, you can reach Katsura Beach in 15 minutes and Kochi City downtown in about 30 minutes by car. It is the best place to stay for families and friends to enjoy freely in nature without worrying about other guests. 1) We use a self check-in system with a tablet and QR code. 2) Dishes and cooking utensils are available, but there is no oil or seasoning. 3) Rental of charcoal stoves and firewood (for campfires and fireplaces) is available for a fee. Meals can be purchased from the online store and delivered.

I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

It is a safe and convenient location within walking distance of the limited express station, shopping district, and the famous "Zenigata sand painting". There is a small river and a nice old house of Japanese style next to the house .The tool of the barbecue is prepared. （Please bring an ignition agent and charcoal） it's comfortable in summer as the temperature is a few degrees lower than in the city. As of 2024, mobile phones have become much easier to connect to. （no wi-fi） The air conditioner was installed in 2022, but it is only on the first floor.Enjoy the natural air. There is a fan. Firewood isn't available from May as it will be warmer.

This house is a beautiful blend of traditional and modern making it convenient but also authentically Japanese. Mountains and ricefields are beside you, the Shimanto River can be heard. The ground floor is all yours. It's spacious with a large tatami sleeping room that can become two. The A/C is only in one room if the doors are closed. There is no central heating. Restaurants are within 10min or you can prepare local foods in your own equipped kitchen. It’s designed for long and short stays.
