Only 2 miles from Stornoway ferry terminal and approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre, the pod is situated in front of my own home in the village of Guershader on the outskirts of Stornoway. This is an ideal location if you’re travelling through the Islands and looking for a short stop-over. Looking for a longer stay? Come and stay at our unique cabin, less than 8 miles from Stornoway with stunning sea views. Enjoy the spectacular setting where you can whale watch and eagle spot on a working hebridean sheep croft. The cabin is uniquely decorated; artizan touches alongside modern day luxuries; Smart TV and wifi; luxury rain shower, nespresso machine, and sumptuous double Emma mattress. We, alongside the sheep, chickens and Buddy the golden retriever would be delighted to welcome you to our slice of paradise.

Only 5 min walk to Kilt Rock where they are filming the new Highlander movie and an outdoor patio to sit back and relax with spectacular views of the Old Man of Storr. 10 mins drive to the Quiraing for hiking and to Staffin Beach with dinosaur footprints. 6 miles from Stornoway our new Barn conversion, on a working croft by the sea, is in the beautiful village of Aignish. Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Kitchen/dining area upstairs, downstairs 2 comfortable/well equipped en-suite bedrooms, double and king, with optional single bed. Also sofa bed. Sleeps 7 people. ES00593P

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

ISLE be BACK, Seaview and beach on your doorstep

Our Island house is located 3.8 miles (9 mins by car and on main bus route) from Stornoway, the Capital of the Western Isles. The house has beautiful sea views across Broadbay and the Minch, it is a short walk to the nearby beach. The property belongs to my partner but I help with the admin of his holiday home venture. My partner is a builder and finished renovating the house in July 2019. He stripped back the property to the bare bricks and basically started again from four walls.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Black pod-inn is a luxury pod located just 20 minutes from Stornoway in New Tolsta and 0.9 miles from stunning Tolsta beach( Traigh Mhor) and Garry beach. This well presented ‘small home’ is light, airy from a kitted out kitchen, full size shower room and a comfoartable seating area with TV, Wi-Fi,bluetooth surround sound system. It has a double bed and 2 single beds. Please note; the facility is ideal for a family of four, it is not designed for four adults
