The house has a heat pump, wood stove, dishwasher, cable TV, Wi-Fi and a trampoline in the garden. The house is clean and tidy. Electricity and water consumption will be charged at the end of the stay. You can do the cleaning yourself and leave the house as received or purchase it for DKK 750.

Draved old-growth forest and Rømø/Wadden Sea (UNESCO) are also within reach by car. There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

The house is located on the eastern part of the island in the Kromose area. A quiet beach facing the Wadden Sea to the east, which is part of UNESCO's natural heritage, is only 500 meters walking distance on a path. Enjoy your morning coffee and tranquility on one of the lovely terraces or on the covered terrace. There is a great opportunity to see the northern lights in the winter months.

Kastanjehuset is a protected townhouse with a closed garden Kastanjehuset is centrally located in the old marsh town of Højer. It's one of the oldest houses in town. Højer is the entrance to the Wadden Sea, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. The home contains a living room with an open kitchen. This spacious house is perfectly located in a quiet setting and offers plenty of space outside. With several outdoor living areas, you can enjoy the large lawn and the fresh air to the fullest. Indoors, you are greeted by a charming atmosphere with creaky floors that contribute to the house's authentic and cozy atmosphere. The house is decorated in a rustic style that gives a warm and inviting feeling. It can accommodate up to 14 people with large comfortable beds spread over 7 rooms.

Halmhuset - The Straw House

Our thatched house is probably the only "Halmhuset" that is rented as a vacation home in Denmark. It is breathable, made of clay and straw, and is sustainably supplied by heat pump and photovoltaics. In summer, the thick walls provide pleasant coolness, in winter it is cozy and warm, with a room height of up to 4 meters. A real feel-good place for up to 8 people, located at the gates of the city of Tønder, close to the Wadden Sea National Park and the islands of Sylt and Rømø.

Delightful cottage on scenic Bolilmark

What we most often hear about our cottage is that it has a nice atmosphere, that you feel welcome and at home and that it is cozy. We strive to make the cottage personal but also functional, which is why the decor is a good mix of new and old. We bought the cottage in 2018, renovating it a little along the way and as time allows. What we want is for the cottage to look cozy and personal. Our wish is that the house can be the framework for creating good memories.

You can relax and start excursions in the area. The house is in an idyllic location on the Marschwanderweg. The apartment is located in a house half that is separately accessible to the guests. It offers a lounge area, a reading corner, a kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The hosts live in the other half of the house. In the guest garden you can relax or let off steam on the trampoline. An additional room in the passage area has been added.

Hos os

Our cozy cottage is 32m2, so just a "tiny house". Free WiFi and access to Netflix. Free use of towels, toilet paper, kitchen roll and hand soap. It is built in the right wing of our house. Suitable for up to 4 people. There are some board games for a rainy day. Use "hos os" as a base to explore (southern) Denmark. Leaflets from the area and an information folder are available in the house. For children: trampoline, tree house, go-karts, etc.
