The house is located less than 1 hour's drive to: Bø with summerland and climbing park Kongsberg with Silver Mines and Alpine Center/Ski Center Rjukan with world heritage, water park, climbing park and Gaustablikk with alpine and cross-country skiing Gaustatoppen, Lifjell and Blefjell To Notodden with Blues Festival, Stavkirka, Telemark Gallery and the World Heritage it is about 30 min drive. You just have to pick and choose from experiences and trips or enjoy quiet days and the good life in the countryside.

Idyllic spot by Tinnsjøen near Rjukan

The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400, -

Stolpehytta

Lower your heart rate at the top of Stolpehytta! Stolpehytta is located 5 minutes away from Blaafarveværket in Modum municipality, right next to the climbing park Høyt & Lavt Modum. Here you can find tranquility among the treetops. The large windows provide a panoramic view over the landscape and the night sky. Built in solid wood, with an area of 27 m2, it gives just enough space for what you need for a relaxing trip away from everyday life. If you want activity, you can rent e-bikes, stroll down to the climbing park or explore the local area.

Welcome to our lovely, newly renovated guest house! Here you can relax in peaceful surroundings and enjoy our amazing views of both Gaustatoppen and Blefjell. The house is centrally located in Hovin 350m from the convenience store, with hiking opportunities right outside the door, or 15 min drive to get to groomed ski slopes and mountains. Hovin is a village in Telemark belonging to the same municipality as the world heritage town of Rjukan - a perfect location for a day trip! The driving time is 2h from Oslo, 1h from Kongsberg.

At 920 meters above sea level you get stunning views of Gaustatoppen, peaceful surroundings and very good sun conditions from morning to evening. Short distance to the mountain, great hiking opportunities, fishing, swimming and cross-country skiing, as well as farm life at Håvardsrud and the cultural heritage of Rjukan, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Gaustablikk ski center is 50 km from the cabin. The cabin is well suited for families and guests who want tranquility, nature, views and good experiences all year round.

Here you have immediate proximity to the wilderness that offers hiking, mountain biking, swimming, fishing, cross-country skiing, and Kongsberg and Gausta ski centers nearby. The cabin is newly built in 2023, luxurious, fully equipped, with WiFi included. Bedding&towels can be rented for €20 per person.

How about relaxing in a cozy little cabin in the woods. The nearest neighbor is a farm located about 300 m away. With road all the way up to the cabin and garage, great patio and evening sun. Absolutely stunning views, including to Gaustatoppen. One bedroom with double bed and door and a smaller sleeping alcove with wide bunk beds. Everything you need in the kitchen. The cabin is located about 900 meters above sea level surrounded by old forest, open land and a few other cabins. Summer: Many options for short and long trips in the mountains in the immediate vicinity. Winter: Large network of ski slopes, straight from the cabin. Both on the snowy mountain and in more protected terrain.

Sit back and enjoy one of the best views Gausta has to offer! Direct access to both cross-country and alpine skiing, centrally located and easily accessible. Park the car warm and snow-free in a private garage with its own ski storage at the back, only a small staircase up and into the apartment. A large, cozy fire place in the living room, and a large terrace for cold beverages and hot cocoa in the sun after some outdoor fun. A nice walk from Tuddal Høyfjellshotel with a great cafe and restaurant. Close to lake perfekt for swimming on hot days.
