Cozy 1850 Firehouse/Back House The cabin has been converted to an annex/small cabin where there is one room with a double bed. Dining nook inside. Outdoor kitchen with fridge, and gas hob. BBQ. Bathroom in the neighboring building. Duvet and pillow are in the cabin. Bed linens are included in the rental price. There is a short distance to the mountain, Tinnsjøen, bike rides and hikes in the nearby area. During summertime you can swim and fish in the river just below. The tourist commune offers varied experiences and activities for everyone.

Fantastic view of Gaustatoppen. The unique thing about this cabin is that it is not located in a cabin area, there is nature and tranquility and birds singing as the closest neighbors. The cross-country trails start right at the parking lot, and from there it is about 300 meters to the alpine facility. Note: It is a distance to walk from the parking lot up to the cabin, 150 meters in the summer/250 meters in the winter, it is steep the first part, so it does NOT fit if you have bad legs. Approx. 1.5 km to Gaustablikk mountain hotel.
