The cottage is located right on the river in its own quiet area, but just an 8-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi. The cottage has electricity, but there is no running water. A place like this is not often encountered on Airbnb. A log cabin over 130 years old in the heritage landscape of Suvio takes its residents on a time trip to a 19th-century hut village. The property is best suited for a lover of Lapland's nature, history, and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter and no mosquitoes in the summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

A unique nordic beach house only 12 min drive from the Santa Claus Village. With luck here you may see Northern lights from August to end of April. Accommodation with a private suite for 6 adults, with small children even for 8. Modern black house stands on a hill only 25 m from the lake shore, over looking to the Northern open horizon to summer midnight sun. Experiences for example Sauna, ice swim, ice fishing, snowmobiling or Santa on site (plus huskies, reindeer) at additional cost.

This small, traditional, Lappish, log cabin is located at lake Norvajärvi with direct access to lake in both winter and summer time. Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells and marvel the northern lights or cosy up by the open fire in winter. We are 20km out from Rovaniemi city and driving time is apprx 30min. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring you drinking water and water for washing in sauna is taken from the lake.

A cosy cottage in a beautiful area only a 30min drive from the city centre. You can set up a bonfire by the stream, listen to the magic sounds of the nature and watch the sky. This is one of the best places in town to see the Aurora Borealis.Now they are at their best and you can see them just looking out of the window inside the cottage!The cottage is right next to the river Ounasjoki.The cottage is only a short distance from the city center but you will be just like different world.

Tämä pieni hirsinen mökki tarjoaa lämpöä ja tunnelmaa luonnon keskellä. Mökki lämmitetään puukamiinalla. Mökki tarjoaa vivahteita entisajan elämästä sähköttömyydellään. Tunnelmaa ja valoa tuovat kynttilän liekit sekä tulen rätinä kamiinassa. Mökin ikkunasta avautuu metsämaisema, joka tuo luontoa edelleen lähemmäs sinua. Pienessä keittonurkkauksessa löytyy kaasuliesi ruoan valmistamiseen. Mökin vieressä on oma ulko-wc. Suosittelen kohdetta 2-3 yön elämykseksi.

Glamping in Aurora Igloo

Experience our unique Aurora igloo. Clamping near the city centre but still next to the forest. See and feel the frost around you but enjoy the warmness of the real fire and down blanket. Enjoy Lapland! We have only one igloo in our garden and it is one of a kind! You may also use the garden around for winter fun activities. We have sledges and shuffles for your use. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
