With adult and kids kayaks, a rowboat, paddleboat, and canoe we have lots of options to get out and explore the lake. Or take a dip off the private dock when the weather is warm.

Perched over Whitman Lake, escape with a cold beverage on your large deck that makes you feel "within the trees." Surrounded by old growth cedars, watch as the resident bald eagles take turns diving into the lake for their lunchtime snack. Walk down the railroad tie stairs and through our "naturally" landscaped yard to find your private dock with a kayak that is free for guests. Whitman Lake is just ~45 min south of Tacoma and ~45 min north of MRNP... a perfect home base for your adventures.

Come visit the RMR and enjoy the skoolie we call the Bee Haven Bus. Enjoy the sounds of the farm while enjoying a warm campfire. You will have a direct view of the forest, Emus, goats and poultry. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs - $50 each.
