Food Scene

Great place to go for Happy Hour. Especially Wed-Sunday when they have live music right outside the restaurant. This is my favorite place to go for Happy Hour for some Al Pastor tacos and a Tito Rita (That's Austin's own Tito's vodka with key lime juice). It used to be a feed store back in the day and still holds some of the old artifacts. Great atmosphere, food, drinks and people!

This place has a little bit of everything. It's a lumberjack themed coffee shop and bar known for their coffee, infused whiskeys and lumberjack decor. This is a great place to drink with friends or study in the private study hall. You can expect to find a few food trailers outside as well serving up BBQ and cheeseteaks with a great outdoor ambiance. They are also open every day around the clock!

Brewery located right around the corner from my home. They brew a selection of beers such as Austin Amber, Stash IPA or Convict Hill Stout to name a few. There's a low-key bar set inside the open warehouse where you can sometimes catch a Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz or meet some friendly Austinites!

If you have a car, it's worth it to make the drive out to this iconic bridge. Park on the north side of the bridge and hike up the cliff to get an amazing view of the hill country and downtown Austin!
