I know its rather confusing, because Haarlem has two St Bavo churches.(one of them is on the main square Grote Markt, this one is on the Leidsevaart) Both are well worth a visit. There is a very nice walk between these 2 churches. This route can be downloaded on www.visithaarlem.com and is a lovely way to discover Haarlem. It is also possible to reach it by boat on the hop on hop off boat. Open every day from 10.00 till 16:30. Entrance fee includes a audio tour. Climbing the tour costs extra.

Built by the Catholics from 1895 to 1930 to replace the Sint-Bavokerk on the Grote Markt, that had been converted to Protestantism from Catholicism in 1578.

This church is famous for its organ, apparently 'Müller organ dating from 1738, which is the most depicted instrument in the world.'

The Cathedral of Saint Bavo in Haarlem is one of the two Bavo-churches. This is the cathedral at the Leidsevaart.
