Godshill is the most visited village on the island with its quaint thatched cottages and pretty church. Have a cream tea in one of many tea rooms or try the local cider. Take a short walk up the hill to the church with a locally made ice cream

This beautiful Model Village nestles in the grounds of the Old Vicarage. Set in nearly two acres of gorgeous landscaped gardens this is a real retro find - a quintessentially English visitor attraction. You will find scale models of Shanklin and Godshill villages as they were in the 1920's. The cottages, pubs and churches are faithfully reproduced versions of the real buildings in 1/10th scale. The garden railway is a must see - a snapshot of the Island Line of yesteryear! Godshill itself is a lovely village to spend the day in. Plenty of places for a cream tea, The Griffin Pub has a large child friendly garden and there are lots of giftshops to discover!

This is the cutest site to see in Godhill village and will definelty entertain the whole family. Admire the skills needed to build these houses to scale, learn about the Island and after taking a picture of your family next to miniature Godhill Church, walk out to find the same spot Lilliputian!

Go small and see many of the locations from around the Isle of Wight in miniature form at Godshill Model Village, which is an RHS partner garden.

Godshill Model Village is a quaint attraction within a quaint village. It's been in the same family for the last 35 years, and they take great pride in the quality of everything from the church to the 3000 model conifers. Young children obviously need to be accompanied to make sure that you don't get home to find half a dozen residents and a lamp-post in a coat pocket. Under threes get in free.
