"Il Mercato della Pignasecca" is the oldest street market in Naples. It extends along the length of Via Pignasecca and it is worth a visit, not only for its temporary stalls which sell fresh fish, fruit and vegetables, and other items, but also for its permanent specialty food shop. For tasty, mostly fried snacks stop at Fiorenzano; for a delicious pizza stop at Pizzeria Da Attilio or Pizzeria Al 22.
