The Best croissants and fresh breads - a focus on German bread - coffees and small plates. A good breakfast/lunch spot. This baker supplies many places around town. And there is outside seating and big windows inside that give the place a great open vibe.

A good bakery with seating; one of the better brunch places in New Haven. Nice sandwiches, deserts and coffee though more a bakery than a diner. Around the corner from the really nice grocery store Elm City Market ($$$).

G Cafe is the perfect place to camp out with your laptop or meet up with friends. It has strong wifi, scrumptious sandwiches (with gluten-free bread!), and comfy padded booth-style benches.
