The Jax Beach fishing pier was recently renovated and a great place to fish or just walk and enjoy the breeze. The pier is a 16 minute walk to the entrance or a 4 minute drive. They have parking at the entrance.

It cost a couple dollars to get on but it's worth it! Recently rebuilt as it was half destroyed in a hurricane years past. It marks the center of the Jacksonville beach area & is where most people head to because of its close distance to all the local bars & restaurants.
