Sugar is great for mid-week, hump day drinks, as it is one of the few places in the city that is open almost every night. Friday and Saturday nights also draw a steady crowd, with lots of booths, large lounges to kick back on, 5 pool tables and a dance floor – there is something for everyone! Featuring some of Adelaide’s best home grown DJs and great international acts, Sugar is one of the few places to still spin vinyl (but you know, before it became a hipster trend). There is free entry before 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights; however, Sugar does generally get busier later in the night, making it a favourite for those kicking on once other establishments have closed.
