Tips from locals
Super popular drinking hole. Outdoor with music. Great area. Only about 20 mins away.
Named after the surf break - old man's - we are the most popular beachfront bar in Canggu, a grown-ups playground, fun and friendly hipster hangout. Head down & have a drink, grab a bite or just a coffee after a surf sesh, catch the chilled and lively vibes or watch an epic sunset.
If you want to have some drinks and dance thats the place to be. Its always very crowded and is usually the last place to close.
Probably one of the best parties in Canggu! Best ones are at Wednesday (beer pong competition and huge party after that) - it’s called “Dirty Wednesday”. But you can come here every day and here will be a party!
This bar is the meeting point for the surfers and hipster community. Known for their Wednesday Night party, its the place to be for the one's looking for vibes and waves.
The Iconic Bar in Canggu. surrounded by nice people. good place for having beers & chill after/before surfing, also have a Happy Hour from 5-7pm. They always held a special music event every Wednesday night, sometimes with beer competitions too. Operation hour: 7am-1am

“The view is breathtaking. At low tide, you can walk out to the temple but the view of the temple at high tide is still worth seeing. Sunset is the peak time to go and this is very crowded. You have to get through an avenue of tourist shops offering all the usual Bali products to get to the temple. There is even a couple of snakes on offer for a photo opportunity.”
