If you haven’t heard of or been to The Austral, you haven’t been out in Adelaide. This ICONIC PUB ON RUNDLE STREET is one of those places that for many, no matter where they start their night they always seem to end up here in the end. The venue is often busy from lunchtime onwards, especially with tourists, uni students and city workers. Enjoy a drink outside one of the numerous tables and chairs, and enjoy the sights and smells of the vibrant Rundle Street atmosphere. A slightly alternative and relaxed Adelaide favourite, The Austral also offers a balcony bar with great views over the east end – and thanks to its primo locale, it’s a great spot for visitors during Fringe & Mad March.

This is one of my fave spots particularly in summer. Great place to people watch. Has eclectic crowd. Always popular - Grab a table outside - but you may have to wait as it can get very busy
