Snorkeling is amazing here and history lovers will really enjoy the fort. If your stay allows for a trip here I recommend it.

Truly wild camping experience. Great for laid back and adventurous people, No amenities. You have to bring everything with you, including water.

Visiting Dry Tortugas National Park during the late fall and early winter season affords a special opportunity to explore a rare undeveloped, subtropical island known as "Bush Key". During the breeding season, this small island, only 16 acres in size, is home to birds not found elsewhere in the continental United States. Fort Jefferson, the largest all-masonry fort in the United States, was built between 1846 and 1875 to protect the nation's gateway to the Gulf of Mexico.

Dry Tortugas National Park is fascinating both in its unique marine landscape and its history, and it's definitely worth the visit. Located at the tip of the Flordia Keys is the stunning Dry Tortugas National Park. It preserves seven breathtaking Dry Tortugas Islands.
