It's a former butcher shop turned into a restaurant, small but comfortable; the food and wine are very good. Very typical local, definitely a pleasant central square meal for tourists

A little hard to find because its located in a small passage way but well worth the effort.I don't need to say much more than this: these are the best paninis.

Tipica, autentica ed informale trattoria fiorentina (prezzi sui 35/40 euro a testa) Per pranzo anche ottimi panini. A due passi da casa. Typical, authentic and informal little restaurant (we call that kind of restaurannts "trattoria"). (35/40 Euro per person) At lunch they also make great sandwiches. Two steps from home.
