A fun place with lots for the children and the older children to do. Famous for the different coloured sands and the chairlift to the beach. There is the Needles Battery, the Lighthouse, Isle of Wight Sweets, Jurassic Golf course and much more to do. Check details here: www.theneedles.co.uk

This place is just lovely, lots to do for little ones, and great sightseeing for for the mums and dads, it has a breath-taking chairlift down to the beach and boat trips out to the needles as well. We love it.

You can't venture to the IOW without a visit to the world famous Needles. Why not get a different perspective from the air and book a tandem paragliding flight (subject to availability and weather)? Please quote Butterfly Paragliding when you book!

The Needles is the islands most known landmark. Here you will visit the needle rocks and lighthouse. There are shops, a restaurant, bar and amusements. You can even take a chairlift Ryde down to Alum Bay beach where you pass all of the different coloured sands in the cliffs. Once you get to the beach you can enjoy the spectacular view, a boat ride, sunbathing or paddling in the water.
