About this place
Influenced by her culinary studies in Turkey, James Beard Award-winning chef-owner Ana Sortun opened Oleana in 2001. At this Cambridge institution—complete with outdoor garden patio—Sortun weaves in influences from Turkey, Lebanon, and Greece to craft spice-inflected dishes and hyper-seasonal meze. Pro-tip: don’t miss out on pastry chef Maura Kilpatrick's signature homemade ice creams.
Tips from locals
Oleana is the best Mediterranean food in Cambridge and possibly all of Massachusetts. In the summer, their garden is a magical place to enjoy a fantastic meal. Great for special occasions or those who appreciate sampling the high-end food scene.
Spectacular special occasion food - Turkish and Mediterranean. Not cheap but absolutely amazing.
One of our favorite spots in and around Boston. This Turkish/Middle Eastern spot is especially great for vegetarians too!
one of the best (not to mention most fresh) gourmet restaurants in Boston. a fine dining experience.
