Our favourite pub. Totally unpretentious, not even a sign outside. But friendly, great beers, good simple food (try the soup of the day). Can be chilly in winter despite open log fires (so take a warm jacket). Outside loos can be chillier still. But all part of the character. Also a good destination to cycle to, along Strawberry Line to Thatcher's Cider and on a bit along back lanes.

My favourite out of town pub. The menu has not changed in decades and it's all the better for it! Come here for a proper British pub, the best roast beef sandwich or cauliflower cheese, and add on a walk up Dolebury Warren for some great views to the coast.

Our favourite pub, food served at lunchtime only but fabulous home cooked favourites. Fire on all winter, lovely outside seating with beautiful view. In our opinion probably the best pub in the whole of Somerset and right on our doorstep.
