Richmond Bridge

Why locals recommend it

This is a magical stretch of riverside, flanked by waterside bars and lawns, perfect for lazy summer evenings. Richmond Boat Hire rents out rowing boats from underneath the arches of Richmond Bridge, the oldest surviving bridge on the Thames. Fuel up with a bratwurst and beer at Stein’s, a Bavarian restaurant near Richmond Bridge that has spectacular views of the river.

Great Riverside Town with restaurants and pubs along the riverside and great to get to Twickenham for the Rugby too. The shopping is more traditional town shopping with stores along the street.
