Fishing port and yacht marina with a nearby Castle and wonderful walks around the headland. Great eateries from humble fish and chips to fine dining. Lots of pubs with good atmosphere. Try the Harbour Bar at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon. Frequented mostly by locals and slightly off the usual tourist…

Howth Harbour Village can be reached easily via a 30-40 minute train ride. Howth is a quaint old village with many restaurants, pubs, fishmongers and there is a beautiful cliff walk overlooking the Irish sea.

“This 22-acre park at the top of Grafton Street is a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the city's streets. Take time out to explore the tree lined walks, shrubbery and colourful flowerbeds around the lake. On weekends the railings of St Stephen's Green become an al fresco art gallery as local artists set up shop to display and sell their work. While lunchtime concerts are performed in the park during the summer months.”
