Every town needs its own iconic diner, and this one is ours. Right across from the bookstore and movie theater, a great place to get your fries and soft drink after a day of hiking or swimming or climbing or skiing--in short, after any Peterborough day off.

The Peterborough Diner is housed in an historic 1950's Worcester Lunch Car Diner. The Diner is a regular stop for politicians on presidential campaigns.

Quintessential American Diner with good food at reasonable prices. Favorite photo-op spot for National Election Candidates. Outdoor summer seating.

Restaurant
“This Peterborough icon has been around as long as most of us have and, like Luke's diner in Gilmore Girls, used to be a hardware store. For real. Now you get good diner-style cooking with a staff that will remember you if you visit it a few mornings in a row. Make it your go-to breakfast place if that's the kind of thing you love!”
