This place is a jewel! You take a 15 minute ferry trip from Beacon Ave (every hour or so). Arrive at island and explore nice beaches & wooded areas. Pack a lunch because no food is available on island - just fresh water & washrooms. Spend few hours then take the ferry back. This is a great daytrip for families & nature lovers.
