Honestly... I hate this place bc it is crawling with bugs, but I accept that it is a necessary part of a botanical garden, and just stay away...
A 13.5 acre beautiful representation of flora and fauna, Foster Botanical Garden is a place which is home to thousands of difference plant species that are both local and foreign to Hawaii.
Take a docent tour of the various flora and fauna in Hawaii. Learn about what was original and introduced to the islands. If this is of interest, my friend is the docent that gives the best tout.
