Why locals recommend it

This is my go-to yoga studio, and I did my teacher training here. I love the beautiful and unique flow between the cycling and vinyasa yoga classes—in Bike-Asana sessions, you start in one class and move to the other, so you sweat and stretch in the same one-hour session. You can drop in without a membership, but it’s best to enquire ahead. Take one of Kate Kendall’s classes—she’s the best. She has the ability to get you into a complete state of Zen, and from the moment you walk into one of her classes you feel calm and welcome. I’ve had many yoga teachers, and this is not an easy feat.

Yes - in Sydney working out is a recreational activity. We love the gym, and Flow Athletic is the best around. Try one of their famous yoga or barre classes looking out over the tree-lined Victoria Barracks. This place has some of the top instructors in Sydney, the cutest clientelle, and will leave you feeling amazing.
