The headquarters are in Wasilla off Parks Highway. Whether you are the lead dog or a follower great place to get facts about dog mushing and sled dogs. In March see the start of this 1,000-mile race on 5th Avenue in Anchorage all the way to Eagle River checkpoint. See the restart of the race in Willow or Wasilla. Dress warm. Race starts first weekend in March and ends when all mushers finish in Nome or scratch. Sean Williams a neighbor ran in this race in 2022.
