A trip to Tintagel is a must if you enjoy the legend of King Arthur and his knights of the round table. You have to book to go and look around the old Castle ruins. You can walk down to the little beach and visit Merlin‘s Cave without a ticket. There is a good coffee shop which does a wonderful Cornish cream tea.

Tintagel Castle is probably the most famous attraction in the area. Who hasn’t heard of King Arthur’s legendary stronghold on the rocky outcrops of the Cornish Coast? Built-in the 12th Century Tintagel Castle is a wonderful experience. Offering incredible views of our beautiful coastline and wildlife, interesting facts about our history and some excellent exercise, due to the steep climbs.
