Sunny Slopes Farm is a 220-acre (89 hectare) working farm, that offers fun educational activities for visitors. There are typical farm animals, such as cattle, chicken and sheep and more unusual creatures such as bison, pheasants, llamas and fainting goats. A visit to the farm is about more than just seeing the animals, though. Here, visitors will learn about the importance of agriculture and its effects on our everyday life. Visitors also have the chance to take a hayride, which will take them up a mountain where they can see views of Asheboro and beyond. Along the way, explanations about all the animals on the farm will be provided.
