Our friends Ben and Holly have just won the Good Food guide's best local restaurant and for good reason! Stunning location overlooking the Solent with the best sunset views on the Island. Wonderful and inspired cuisine.

Right on the shoreline in Gurnard with views of the Solent. Quality lunch and dinner venue in Scandi/seaside fusion surroundings.

A lovely setting and the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon drink looking out over the water in Gurnard. If the tide is out, go for a walk along the waterfront all the way from Cowes to Gurnard. And if time allows, head past the restaurant to Thornless Bay before/after a visit.

“Tapnell Farm is a former dairy farm, turned all-weather attraction, surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Isle of Wight. It is one of most popular things to do on the Isle of Wight, and a great family day out whatever the weather! Meet the Animals in our Farmyard Barn, and get up close and personal with some of Tapnell’s cutest and smallest residents. Wander round the Wallaby Walkabout with our mob of tame wallabies, and admire the marvellous meerkats as they stand guard. Venture out into The Paddock and enjoy the views in the company of our friendly sheep and their other farmyard chums”
