Why locals recommend it

The owner is very eccentric, and he shuts down whenever he wants, so I would say the best time to go is 10:00am on Saturday or Sunday because that's normally when he’s opening. He treats his restaurant as his home, and he gives you these dolls when you're in line to acknowledge that you're waiting. He's really funny, and it’s super San Francisco. It’s only open on the weekends; it’s closed Monday through Friday.

The legendary Red Door Cafe! Make it through the lines for amazing food, and a mini-performance from the hilarious staff.

Tiny breakfast joint that only takes parties of 2. Owner is flamboyant, silly and crude. Not for the easily offended but a unique experience.

Highlighted for being "The Gayest Brunch in San Francisco". Excellent food, one-of-a-kind experience.

Tiny SF vegan brunch spot decorated in naked barbie dolls. Hand picked clientele, so make sure to have a sense of humor ie a plate named " dump your wife and lick my tight pink snatch"
