Located in the Mills 50 district, this amiable spot (with sister outposts across the country) features a bar area and high-ceilinged, industrial dining room with concrete floors, metal seats, and pops of color. Diners tend to come here in groups for a spirited meal that may start with a tiki cocktail. Then load up on snacks like crisp and flaky roti canai coupled with warmly spiced coconut curry for dipping. Noodles are a focus, as in the deeply savory char kway teow with lap cheong, shrimp, and chicken; while Po Po Lo's curry is based on a family recipe and best enjoyed with rice.

Try the lychee tea! Asian small dishes made to share. I recommended you arrive off peak hours because it gets very busy.
