Local Swedish cuisine, great happy hour, coffee and located right in the Swedish Museum, a cultural icon of south Mpls, an area heavily influenced by Nordic settlers.

Cafe in the American Swedish Institute. It is high cuisine in a casual setting - phenomenal!

Recommended: meatballs (life changing, IKEA could never) and Swedish coffee. Located within the American Swedish Institute, a cultural center and museum with a gift shop and neat architecture. 5 minute drive with free parking lot or 20 minute walk.

Located inside the American Swedish Institute, this cafe offers some of the best Scandi-inspired cuisine and treats, along with an excellent selection of wines and house-made Aquavit. The outdoor courtyard is perfect for warm-weather dinine, and kids love the Swedish meatballs and creamy mashed potatoes!
