Sport Island is another popular place on the lake! Visit by boat or car and enjoy plenty of outdoor seating and large beach for the family. The beach is not public but guests of the restaurant can certainly enjoy it while you are there. Check their site for live entertainment as well.

There are bars aplenty in the general vicinity but Sport Island Pub is particularly nice as it's right on the Sacandaga Lake.

8 minute drive. Local bar with decent menu. Accessible from lake with boat. Great beach. Have live music on occasion and in the summer. Beach and outdoor deck. Be sure to make reservations in advance during holidays. 5 minute drive from Cottage.

This is a fun place where you can order bar menu and dinners. Great for kids. Located right on the water.
