Bukchon Hanok Village

Why locals recommend it

Bukchon Hanok Village is more famous as tourist site, but if you go there early in the morning before it gets crowded, it also makes a great running course. It’s interesting to run through the narrow streets filled with Hanoks, traditional Korean homes. Take a detour into the narrow alleys to get a closer look at the traditional buildings.

Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse in Korean traditional culture.

This town is where still a lot of traditional Korean buildings are still standing. This place also offer one of the best coffees and teas in Seoul.
